No one can say for sure when Goldie first landed in Santa Clara, but it was back when people still called this part of the world the “Valley of Heart’s Delight.” Her table was a refuge where all were welcome; strong liquor flowed; laughter filled the air and you could always count on a homemade meal and a slice of pie.
Legend says that Goldie had only one rule—be kind—and that she knew everyone’s order before they sat down and could quash any conflict with a milkshake or martini and a healthy measure of side-eye.
Decades later, Goldie’s returns, reviving the golden age of supper clubs, soda fountains, and after-hours cocktails with elevated comfort food, boozy shakes, phosphates, and timeless California glamour. Equal parts nostalgic and sophisticated, Goldie’s is where old-school hospitality meets modern indulgence.
